Ok. I knew this was coming, and I’ve been talking about it for a LONG time. Seth is currently upstairs trying to get Grayson to bed without me. Tonight I told Seth, “You’re just going to have to tell me that we’re DOING IT one of these nights, because otherwise I just might never do it.” So, what did he say? Aw, crap.
I am exhausted from the recent changes with work and battling all these viruses going around. (I’m the new executive director at the museum, yay!) Our house is a raging mess, or, as I like to fondly call it, a travesty. The last week has been rough… but also good. Today I met with three older veterans about helping design the museum’s new exhibit, which will be focused on the personal stories and lives of veterans through the years. (We don’t yet have a clever tagline.)
I can hear the boys upstairs, and it doesn’t sound like Grayson is getting close to bed. It’s been nice anyway, having a few minutes to catch up on writing. Tomorrow Grayson and I are taking a little trip to visit The First Division Museum at Cantigny, and while we’re in the area I think we’ll make a stop at a Whole Foods Market. Yea! I’m going to load up on a truckload of Quorn. Ah Quorn, how I love you.
In other news, more Grayson-related: apparently he waved at Rick and Becky today, individually — and said “Grandpa” and “Grandma”. When I picked him up today it was startling how much he just seemed like a little person instead of a baby. Gulp!
